Description

Hameau des Claudins is a hamlet belonging to Plan de la Tour, a picture-perfect southern French village with shady squares, a weekly market, shops, cafés and restaurants. Plan de la Tour offers year-round activities such as traditional festivals, wine tastings, exhibitions, dance and theatre performances and pétanque tournaments. The village is surrounded by vineyards and châteaux offering wine tastings. The location of Hameau des Claudins is truly unique.

Here you can enjoy both the tranquillity of Provence and the wonders of the Côte d'Azur: in the heart of the wild Massif des Maures, yet only ten kilometres from the seaside restaurants and beaches of Sainte Maxime. The Massif des Maures is covered with chestnut, cork oak and pine forests. It stretches from Hyères to Saint-Raphaël and includes the peninsula of Saint-Tropez (about 20km away), home to the famous Pampelonne beach and several internationally renowned vineyards, including a classified cru, Château Minuty. An excursion by car will take you along small roads through unspoilt countryside with breathtaking views. You will discover villages such as Collobrières, famous for its glazed chestnuts, the Cistercian abbey of Le Thoronet or the 12th-century Chartreuse de la Verne, or the perched village of Grimaud with its flowery medieval streets, rich in heritage and crafts, and its castle whose ruins offer a magnificent panorama over the wooded hills and the sea.

The Hameau des Claudins is a typical Provençal hamlet dating from the 1600's, rebuilt by a Dutch architect and transformed into a picturesque ensemble of 15 fully renovated holiday cottages. Use the heated swimming pool or enjoy a game of petanque or table tennis. Bread service for fresh croissants and baguettes available. Simply an ideal place to spend your holiday!

Wake up to one of the best views in the Hameau from the bedroom, overlooking the Massif des Maures nature reserve.

First floor: Bedroom with two single beds that can be converted into a 180cm double bed. Air conditioning, new bathroom with travertine tiles, walk-in shower and washbasin with vanity unit.

The house has a high speed internet connection. The signal is available in the house, on the balcony and on the terrace. Use of the internet is of course included.
